By booking an appointment with Mika Beauty And Brows, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the policies outlined on this page.

Must:

• Be over 18 years old to book.
• Not be pregnant or nursing.
• Not be allergic to latex, local anesthetic, alcohol, or pigment.
• Inform the technician of any known allergies.
• Not have undergone chemotherapy within one year.
• Not have uncontrolled diabetes.
• Not have high blood pressure or blood related issues, including blood clotting disorders.
• Not take any blood thinners like ibuprofen, aspirin or niacin within 72 hours of your appointment.
• Inform the technician of all medications taken in the past 6 months.
• Not have any viral infection or infectious disease.
• Not be undergoing artificial insemination.
• Not have any skin conditions on or near treatment area. This includes rashes, psoriasis, eczema, melasma, rosacea, shingles, rosacea, open cuts, wounds, sores, scar tissue, etc.
• Not be prone to keloid scars.
• Not be on accutane, taken accutane or steroids within the past year.
• Not be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of appointment.
• Not have COVID or flu like symptoms.
• Advise the technician of any concerns you may have before they begin the procedure.
• Accept responsibility for determining the color, shape and position of the enhancement as agreed during your consultation prior to the procedure.
• Understand that a sensitivity test for pigment does not guarantee that you will not have an allergic response. Be aware that allergic response to pigment is rare.

To secure your spot, a NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE is required when booking. Booking Fees are applied towards your full treatment cost and the remainder is due the day of the appointment. Canceling your booking will result in forfeiture of the booking fee. Booking Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

You may reschedule your appointment up to 7 days prior to your appointment via the confirmation email or by texting us. You may reschedule only once. Rescheduling more than once will require another booking fee. If rescheduling within 7 days – another booking fee will be required regardless.

Must not have previous work done by a different artist to book Permanent Makeup Procedures. If you have previous work, email clear pictures with no makeup or filters to mikabeautyandbrows@gmail.com for approval before booking. If you book without sending pictures in advance for approval, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

Semi-permanent and permanent cosmetic enhancement are an advanced form of tattooing.

While some skin types may retain the pigment and heal beautifully without a touch-up, most clients are required to come back for a PERFECTING SESSION. The perfection session is a separate fee and not included with the initial session. It is client’s responsibility to schedule the Perfection Session within 6 to 12 weeks after the initial session, as it would not be considered a touch-up after 12 weeks passed.

Semi-permanent cosmetic enhancement procedure can involve some discomfort, though we take every measure to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible.

Must follow the post- procedure instructions to achieve best results.

The result of the procedure is determined but not limited by the following: medications taken, skin characteristics and natural skin undertones, alcohol intake and smoking, general stress, a compromised immune system, poor diet, post procedure treatment.

The procedure involves taking before and after procedure pictures.

We ask you to not bring other guests or pets with you to your appointment due to the nature of services we provide as we are handling sharp tools and would like to dedicate full attention to our clients.

Cancellation policy:

We reserve the right to cancel your appointment and your booking fee will be forfeited if you:

• Are a no-show.
• Are late more than 15 minutes, as it is considered a no-show.
• Fail to give 7 days notice for rescheduling.
• Show up to your appointment without consent of previous work.
• Fail to follow the pre-appointment instructions.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason to anyone.
